4th of July

This greeted us at our front door 1st thing this morning. Taylor brought G-daddy some 4th of July sugar cookies she made, those are G-daddy's favorite. And isnt our little cutie dressed for the 4th..

We managed to keep a hat on T most of the day , the sun is sooooo hot...

we were trying to get the pool water going in one direction so everyone was walking in a circle

We tried something from Pinterest.. We made our corn on the cob in a cooler it tasted great & was so easy. It is a good idea when you need to make a lot of corn on the cob & you dont want to use lots of pans & heat up the house. Put the shucked corn in a clean cooler, boil 2 pans of water & dump over the corn & shut the lid to the cooler & let "cook" for 30 minutes, worked great.

I hope everyone is having a fun & safe 4th. We feel very blessed to have the freedom we have in the USA & also to have our girls & their families close by to share this fun holiday.. It was a great day even if it was HOT!!!! Thanks Zickafooses for hosting us & the pool was AWESOME!!!
