Busy Day playdough & Corn cake casserole

Taylor didnt feel well yesterday so we cuddled most of the day (that is why no pictures yesterday Nana) :) So today we tackled her closet, sorted through & organized the 12 months, stored away the 3-6 months that were sleeveless summer type things. & got out the 18 months things.

Next we made mommy & her class some orange play dough, Taylor helped. I have the best recipe for homemade play dough.
2 1/2 c flour
1/2 c salt
2 pk of kool aid (whatever color you want)
3T oil
2 c boiling water
Mix all the dry ingredients, add oil & boiling water. Stir quickly & mix well. When mixture is a little cooler mix with your hands. Store in air tight container or baggie. Use cookie cutters to play with dough

She wasnt sure about the flourbut then she dug right in
I made the mistake of giving her the orange Kool aid packets when I was done with them, well as you can see there must have still been a little left she had orange stained hands, plus it was all around her mouth

then we played with the play dough, she kept wanting to taste it & then she would shake her head & sputter a bit after she put it to her lips...

Next was lunch time I heard she had Pino spaghetti last night so that was lunch, she really enjoyed it
you can tell she enjoyed it by her face LOL
She actually did eat quite a bit.
Family Dinner night Ham & Beans with cornbread muffins & a new recipe corn cake (see above photo)
Corn Cakes Casserole

Landon was so disappointed when they came over today, when he found out Taylor wasnt here, so when Jess called after they got home from MI & asked if I could run over for a few minutes & watch T while she went & picked up the dogs & Matt unloaded fire wood they brought back, I asked him if he wanted to go, of course he said yes..
Taylor brought back some new toys from MI for us to play with.

Daddy Matt won this toy for Taylor at the MI fair, I believe he told me it cost him $25.. :)

Dress & Desserts

We bought Taylor a cute Thanksgiving dress last night at JC Penneys. I didnt realize the collar was all whopper jawed when I took the picture.. I cant wait to see it on her, We need to make sure she has some cute hair bow or something to wear with it. Maybe for her 1 year photo we will get some pictures of her in the dress.. I love the rick rack & the pokka dot ribbon
We were invited to join a card club, tonight is the 1st night. Im suppose to bring dessert, we are having dinner before we play. I was craving mint brownies, but thought not everyone likes that so I made some cream cheese type brownies too. The little peanut butter cup cookies came from our bible study small group that met last night. The Snyders hosted & sent some of these yummies home with all of us..:)
