Spend time with me (Jesus) for the pure pleasure of being in My company. I can brighten the dullest of gray days; I can add sparkle to
the routines of daily life. You have to repeat so many tasks day after day. This monotony can dull your thinking until your mind slips into neutral. A mind that is unfocused is vulnerable to "the world, the flesh and the devil", all of which exert a downward pull on your thoughts. As your thinking process deteriorate, you become increasingly confused & directionless. The best remedy is to refocus your mind & heart on Me, your constant Companion.
Even
the most confusing day opens up before you as you go step by step with Me. My Presence goes with you wherever you go, providing Light for your path.
This really resonated with me, I get pulled down by the mundane day to day tasks, and
defiantly go into neutral mode. I many times feel very
directionless to the point of doing nothing then
Im discouraged by this. My focus has
definitely lost its sharpness now that I stay home all day...I love what
Im doing just frustrated by my lack of energy or drive. Need to remember when
Im feeling this way to refocus on Christ.
We were suppose to meet G-daddy for lunch today but he caught us at Aldi shopping, & said do you want to do breakfast at McDonalds across the street instead, so that is what we did. T had never been to this McDonalds with the play area, she is actually not big enough but we had the place to ourselves & she just crawled around at the bottom
Isnt she a cutie, she has the sweetest smile & personality most of the time.. :)
Then we had to go to Walmart to finish our shopping she was funny she thought my shampoo was lotion & she would act like she was rubbing it on her legs
This is her getting the lotion out of the bottle, hey it kept her entertained during our shopping :)
She has this cute little stuffed dog not sure where it came from I think maybe a rummage she has been sleeping with it & carrying it around the last few days. The doggie is drinking her milk from snack, she is good at sharing, well most of the time :)
