Mall play date

They all were on teh slide & T decided to go down on her belly..

Santa wasnt there so we sat in his chair

oops I thought I turned this in front of the winter scene, tehre was a mall worker who called security on us because we were in a ropped off area, Ba Humbug she was a scrooge.LOL

Some how Tyson shut himself in the bathroom, while I was upstairs so he was in tehre for probably about an hour this is what I found when I let him out, atleast he didnt unroll the whole roll of toilet paper :)

snow

well I thought we were only suppose to get a few inches, I measured it about 6 with a ruler & we had 5 1/2 inches, little more than they predicted. Goofy Jess wore her flip flops to school yesterday...

1st snow

our 1st snow, it was BEAUTIFUL, big soft fluffy snowflakes & I didnt have to get out in it :)

I was so excited for Taylor to wake up from nap & see the snow, it wasnt snowing when she went down for her nap. She wasnt really sure what to think.

I thought Id push her to the mailbox in her car, well the snow was to heavy & wet & already to deep for her car wheels to go

Chucks 1st advent said Im so glad your my "honey", & under the tree was a package of one of his favorites, Honey Buns. I know its kind of corny but who cares, little corny notes hopefully remind Chuck of how much I love him & what an amazing person I think he is!!!!

Made some pumpkin bread & choc chip pumpkin muffins with one of the last 2 cans of pumpkin I had, going to a prayer circle at church today & taking the ladies a treat..

Church play date

eating lunch at church & making new friends with Sierra who is 7 months

Isabelle (4), Lily (almost 3) are Sierra sisters & then I cant remember the other little girls name she was 2 1/2. Taylor had a good time & went right down for a nap when we got home at 2.

Chucks Christmas Countdown

Since Chuck & I dont really do Christmas with each other I thought I would do this fun little Christmas countdown for him, each day on the back of the card it says something, it may or may not have a little treat/gift to go with it, the little item will be sitting under the little tree on the hall table...

The little tree across from the countdown that will hold the little surprises for Chuck. I will share some of them as he takes the numbers down but until then, you have to wait. He starts on Wed.. Hard to believe its only 27 days until Christmas...

Devotion

This is the day that I have made! As you rejoice in this day of life, it will yield up to you precious gifts & beneficial training. Walk with me along the high road of Thanksgiving, & you will find all the delights I have made ready for you.

To protect your thankfulness, you must remmeber that you reside in a fallen world, where blessings & sorrows intermingle freely. A constant focus on adversity defeats many Christians. They walk through a day that is brimming with beauty & brightness,seeing only the grayness of their thoughts. Neglecting the practice of giving thanks has darkened their monds. How precious are My Children who remember to thank Me at all times. They can walk through the darkest days with Joy in their hearts because they know that the Light of My Presence is still shining on them. Rejoice in this day that I have made, for I am your steadfast Companion.

Walkway

Jessica , Matt & Taylor invited us to go walk the walkway of lights (it was almost 60 degree today), they brought pizza over for supper & then we took 2 cars & dropped one off at the end of the walkway & drove to the beginning of the lights & walked to the 1st car, so we didnt have to walk back, pretty smart thinking...

cute luminaries I made

Imade these cute luminaries to put on the front porch or maybe my little holiday hall table

so simple, mason jar, with a little jute around it & some BIG bells, filled with epsom salt & a votive candle

Angel on the tree

Chuck got the outside lights up, he came up with a great idea to hang the angels over our existing outside lights

Taylor thought Chuck was hiliraious the other night when he was pushing all her toys down her little slide

My early Christmas present a gate with a little door to go through so you dont have to move it every time you want to go down the hallway.

Taylor has taken over Natalie job of putting the star on our tree.
