We are hosting our small group Christmas party on Sunday afternoon. I decided it was important for us to remember what we were celebrating, Christmas, the Birth of Christ. I was listening to a pastor & he said the sad thing about Christmas is people forget about the guest of honor, Christ. So we are having a birthday party for Jesus. I will be making a cake & we will be singing happy Birthday, we will read the Christmas story & of course you have to have games at a party. The boxes above are the prizes for the games
I just put some tissue & Christmas candy inside
I found the idea for the games on the web, they are a spin off from the "Minute To Win It" game. We have stacking the solo red cups with one hand, can you get the red nose on your nose in under a minute, of course you have to wear the reindeer ears, instead of "nut" cracker it is "nut" stacker (how many nuts can you stack on top of each other using only one hand & a candy cane
How many marshmallow can you get in the wreath bucket in a minute & can you get the cookie in your mouth starting with it laying on your forehead without using your hands. I saw some pictures of families playing the games & it looked hysterical. I hope our friends enjoy them. They are all pretty good sports...I will post pictures after the party on sunday. We also are having a white elephant exchange, CHucks gift is a 5x7 picture of one of the guys in our group with a piece of duck tape on his head that says SCUMBAG, last time we had a social at our house we played warlords & scumbags Its a fun game with a group of people too..
