100 Days of Praise Spiritual Growth

Maturity in Christ is about consistent pursuit in spite of the attacks and setbacks. It is about remaining in the arms of God. Abiding & staying, even in my weakness, even in my failure.

The Balancing Act
Life seems to be a delicate balancing act, a tightrope walk with over commitment on one side and undercommitment on the other. Its up to us to walk carefully on that rope. God's word promises the possibility of abundance (John 10:10). We are far more likely to experience abundance when we lead balanced lives. Are you doing too much-- or too little? Ask God, listen to His instructions & sstrive to achieve a more balanced life.

To do too much is as dangerous as to do nothing at all. Both modes prevent us from savoring our moments. One causes me to rush right past the best of life without recognizing or basking in it, and the other finds me sitting quietly as life rushes past me.--Patsy Clairmont

(Right now I am falling into this going back and forth between doing too much in certain areas of my life & then mentally, physically & spiritaully exhausting myself or shutting down that I turn around and do nothing. Need to get back on even (balanced) ways.)

Taylor 4 month

I think Aunt Nat got some really cute smiling pictures of Miss T, I was trying to help make her smile & take some pictures on my camera, so I think Aunt Natalies will be better...

Taylor loves her bunny blanket from g'pa strange

She got hungry ,tired & cranky after the pink outfit so we opted to take the St Patty outfit with her sleeping maybe after nap we can take more. She was worn out from going out to breakfast & playing all morning. We will have to take the bear picture when she wakes up. Aunt Natalie has lots of cute props & ideas for Easter. Cant wait to see Taylor in the litle dress we bought her to wear for Easter..

Praising God for his promises

Ps 119:50 says This is my comfort in my affliction: Your promise has given me life.

The Bible is a road map for life here on earth and for life eternal. We are called upon to trust its promises, to follow its commandments, and to share its Good News. We should study the Bible daily and meditate upon its meaning for our lives, it is a transforming, life changing one of a kind treasure. God has made promises to us, and they never fail or grow old. I must trust those promises & share them with those around me.

The meaning of hope isn't just some flimsy wishing. Its a firm confidence in God's promises- that he will ultimately set things right.--Sheila Walsh

I am praying that God is working in several situations in my life & that his promise to set them right will come to pass.
