It was nice to be back with taylor today & actually feeling halfway decent.. We played with her little hungry caterpillar (small motor skills) game. Jessica participated in a swap with some other mothers for some learning activities. This one is cute the person made a caterpillar head on a large wood bead & tied a green shoe string around it for the body & cut out foamie food for the caterpillar to eat. There is a story "The Hungry Caterpillar" that hte kdis LOVE to read & he eats all these things & gets big & fat & makes a cacoon & then turns into a beautiful butterfly.
You can see here T is pinching the shoe string between her fingers & threading the string through the food.
There were oranges, grapes, strawberries & other things, so we got to talk about colors, fruits, etc. SHe sat for a long time playing with it & then putting them in & out of the bag.. She has pretty good fine motor skills for how young she is better then some of my 3 & 4 year old preschoolers had..
You can see how she laid all the food out..
She found daddy putter & decided to play a bit.
Since we took a long morning nap we were able to meet G-daddy for a frosty at lunch time.
She loves to see G-daddy she got so excited when I told her in the car that we were going to see him, then of course the ice cream was just icing on the cake. I think G-daddy enjoyed his mid day dose of T..Got to love that cute face
