Chocolate Chip cookie dough Brownies

Jennifer Hite made a brownie similar to this a few years back for us at preschool I always meant to get the recipe but never did, so this morning I decided to do a search. Lots of yummy stuff out there. The girls were excited when I brought this for dessert today.
Brownie Layer
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate (finely chopped) I didnt chop mine
1 cup unsalted butter at room temp
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup flour
Preheat oven 325 degrees. spray 9x13 pan with Pam. Melt chocolate in microwave set aside to cool. In another bowl , mix butter & brown sugar until light & fluffy. Beat in the eggs & vanilla. Mix in the melted chocolate, add flour & mix just until combines (dont over mix). Spread batter in pan bake 25 minutes or until done, cool completely.
Cookie Dough Layer
3/4 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp whole milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips ( I had to use regular size)
Combine butter & both sugars. Add milk & vanilla, mix in flour just until combines, using a rubber spatula stir in the chocolate chips.
Spread the cookie dough over the cooled brownies. Refrigerate until the dough is firm, about an hour. Use a sharp knife or a pizza cutter to cut the brownies. Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
DELICIOUS
